I taught one of my Chinese friends, Mindy, the colloquialism "hit it and quit it". It was absurd. That's a very hard phrase to teach because she kept wanting to know if it was a one night stand. I told her not quite. Just think about how you would explain it.

I had so much fun two nights ago at C-Union. We got there around 10:30 and danced to loud techno for a few hours. It was great. I always have a good time when I go there. I meet the most interesting people in China.

The two new teachers, DPH and TDJersey (Tall, Dark and Jersey), are moving into my building. I'm so excited. We went to dinner at Hooley's the other night (a seven minute walk from our building) after their long day of signing apartment contracts. I know how it is. They're so much fun. The other night we commited to spooning. We also decided to have big breakfasts together after long nights out. Poor DPH has a bad case of food poisoning right now. I think she'll live.

I'm going over to Jane's (the Canadian) tonight for dinner and I'm so excited. I need to go to bed earlier tonight than last night. Last night I stayed up until half past two watching Nip/Tuck. It is the raunchiest, most ridiculous show I've ever seen and I am hooked. I tried counting how many bare bottoms I saw on the show last night, but I lost count. It was absolutely crazy. It's so good.
