I found out yesterday that one of my new friends here in China (we'll call him "Fan Belsworth")reads my blog through a proxy server. Now I can't talk bad about all the people I work with. I will, however, tell you about "Fan Belsworth". "Fan Belsworth" is the English version of Zack Stewart. If you know how much I love Stewie, then you have a good idea of how much I love "Fan Belsworth". He is so funny and so helpful. One day he made me my own chopsticks game and brought it to me. Then he made me a word search for my class. I didn't ask, he just did it out of the goodness of his heart. The first time he really made an impression me, he was saying that if one of his projects wasn't accepted, he was going to shit in the guy's hand. I almost died right there from laughing. He hasn't made me pass out yet, but he's gotten close. He's also very smart and quite knowledgable about ESL. He's been a wonderful help to me since I've started teaching. The other thing that really stands out is that when he asks you a question, he actually listens to the answer you give. It's quite refreshing. I quite often find myself talking to the other teachers about how awesome "Fan Belsworth" is. He's just so great.
