My diploma is on order! Now only a few weeks until I can send in for my visa. In other news, I'm the newest employee at the Sears in Arbor Place mall. I can barely contain my excitement.

The things I need to get my visa:

- a diploma (story on that: my original diploma was ruined in the mail and in order to get a teaching visa, I have to have my original diploma. I've been in contact with the diploma reorder office and they say it will take at least four weeks to get it)
- a signed letter of reference from a previous employer
- a copy of my passport (I actually have this already)
- a list of two contactable professional references

Things I need/want for China:
- tennis shoes (got them last week)
- a new digital camera
- a large memory card for said digital camera
- a laptop sleeve so I don't have to carry my laptop case
- toiletries to last a year (you just can't get certain things over there and I'm very picky as to what I put on my body)
- a power converter for all my electronics
